Senior Action Shares Fall Fitness Schedule

Get moving this year with Senior Action‘s fall fitness events. The new schedule offers a variety of classes designed for fun and fitness, including a new Drums Alive class that improves balance, gait, and quality of life.

Don’t miss FREE Drums Alive preview classes on Wednesday, September 28, at 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. These classes are open to anyone 55 and up. A Senior Action membership is not required.

Here are a few more classes that will be available this fall; most start October 3.

Arthritis Exercise

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 1 p.m.

Beginner/Gentle Yoga

Mondays and Wednesdays, 11:30 a.m.

BOOM™ Mind!  (NEW)

Focusing on core muscles, lower-body strength, and balance, this class combines yoga and Pilates to relax your body and mind.

SilverSneakers®, Silver & Fit, and Renew Active Members: FREE

BOOM™ Move!  

This class will involve music and dancing with fun, dance-inspired 30 minute workout improves your cardio fitness with easy-to-follow moves set to energizing music.

Learn some lymphatic stimulating movements that promote lymphatic circulation and improve joint range of motion.

Rise and Shine Yoga (NEW)

*Please bring your own yoga mat.
Wednesdays and Fridays, 8:15 a.m. – 8:45 a.m.

S.E.A.T. (NEW)

A low-impact, chair-based exercise program. Improves physical health and cognitive function.

SilverSneakers® Circuit

Circuit uses a circuit-interval format to improve cardiovascular and muscular endurance and strength.
